Furniture and Cabinetry Grounded in Craft.

Beautiful, sustainable, and made to last — from our Melbourne workshop to you.

Seeded creates custom furniture, joinery, and thoughtful spaces for living. Each design is shaped by hand, built with intention, and rooted in a respect for materials, place, and purpose.

What We Do

We work with furniture designers, interior designers, architects, builders, and directly with home owners and clients to bring their visions to life.

Interiors with a Sense of Calm.

Functional and finely detailed — our work balances natural form with precision.

Browse selected spaces crafted for homes, studios, and commercial spaces.

Tailored from the Ground Up.

Whether it's a table to gather around, built-in cabinetry for a studio, or custom detailing for a residential fit-out, Chris brings deep technical knowledge and a calm, collaborative approach to every project.

Our Process

01

Consultation

Share your ideas, dimensions, and vision.

02

Design

We develop the details, select materials, and provide drawings/quotes.

03

04

Delivery & Install

Installed with care, on time, and ready for real life.

Responsibly Made.

We believe furniture should last — not just in materials, but in meaning.

We work with sustainably sourced hardwoods, low-impact finishes, and composite materials selected for both beauty and longevity. Offcuts are reused where possible, and every step of our process is designed to reduce waste.

It's about making fewer things, better.

About Seeded

Built With Quiet Confidence.

Chris, the maker behind Seeded, grew up in England, watching his father craft staircases and furniture by hand — always built for real homes, real families, and built to last. That early exposure seeded something deeper: a lifelong connection to making.

After training in the UK as a Carpenter, Chris refined his craft in Australia, studying furniture and cabinetmaking with some of the country's leading manufacturers. He now works from his own Melbourne-based workshop, collaborating with designers, architects and clients to create work that feels timeless and grounded.

At Seeded, each piece is shaped by hand, using high-quality hardwoods, modern composite materials, and a considered, sustainable approach to building.
